Sanus VMPL Wall Mount Review
Sanus VMPL Wall Mount is a tilt wall mount bracket and this is great news for owners of flat screen TVs (LCD or Plasma). It’s designed to safely and securely support for large displays (32″-60″) up to 175 lbs. of weight. Easy to install and use, and offers smooth operation and great looks.
Product Overview
Some tilt wall mounts require tools to adjust the angle, but Sanus VMPL Wall Mount with Virtual AxisTM technology allows variable angle adjustment with just the touch of a finger. With Virtual Axis, the display stays exactly where you aim it, and you can lock the position by simply tightening a knob.
This wall mount places your TV closer to the wall (only 3-1/4″) than many similar tilt wall mount brackets. And isn’t a wall-hugging appearance one of the main reasons you chose a flat-panel display in the first place.
The Sanus VMPL Wall Mount is simple but strong design. Like every other Sanus product we’ve seen, the VMPL combines smart engineering with outstanding fit and finish.
Sanus VMPL Wall Mount is a solid heavy-gauge steel construction offers a sleek, high-tech look while providing strength and durability.
The wall plate of Sanus VMPL Wall Mount must be anchored directly to wall studs using the supplied lag bolts. Once the wall plate is anchored to the wall studs and the TV rails (with the TV attached) are hooked onto the wall plate, the TV can slide left to right, allowing you to center the TV on the wall.
With Virtual Axis, the TV can tilt 15 degrees forward or backward, and you can lock the position by simply tightening a knob on each TV rail.

Customer Review
Installation was very simple. You do need two people, though, to lift your mounted TV and brackets into the wall plate. Even though it is rated for up to 175 lbs, with the huge lag bolts that are provided (as big as the ones used for my garage door), nothing is going to move once it is in place. The only minor complaint is that the safety bolts were a little bit hard to reach to tighten, but no big deal.
