It is generally advised not to hang your TV facing doors and large windows where the sunlight directly falls on the screen. Though the Plasma TV has anti-glare technology, you must avoid sunlight falling on the screen. Try to find enough floor space in case of pedestal type Plasma Mounts and wall space with the minimum of twice the screen width for placing speakers.

During the early years of televisions, traditional TVs cannot be wall mounted. This feature only arose when flat screen TVs (LCD or Plasma) were introduced. Plasma TVs may now be hanged nearly on any flat surface in your house. Nearly everyone hang their Plasma TV on the wall without knowing that they can likewise be mounted to the ceiling. Is it possible? of course.

In fact, some celebrities did this in their homes. It really looks very hip since you can watch TV while lying down. But it is very important to remember that the mounting of your Plasma TV on the wall or on the ceiling was properly made. You wouldn’t want your cool TV to end up lying on the floor, all broken, or falling on your face without knowing, right?

If you have decided on mounting your Plasma TV on the wall in your home, you need to keep a few things in mind. First and foremost is the weight of your particular TV model. You can usually find that weight specification in the user manual or even on the box that it comes in.

As you start to shop for Plasma Mounts, make sure that any wall mounts that you consider is able to comfortably handle the weight of your Plasma TV. So you will need to have strong, sturdy Plasma Mounts that can easily handle the weight of your Plasma TV. As always, price will affect how heavy-duty the mounts will be.
